Web Design & Internet Safety

Class Description

While surving the web, have you ever come across a really cool website and wonder, "how'd they do that?" Well, in this class not only will I show you, I will teach you how to make your very own really cool website!

Each student will choose a domain name and create their very own website in class. They will learn basic html coding, css coding, how to use templates, etc. In addition, we will learn about the hidden pitfalls of using the internet and how to stay "safe."

Each student must have a laptop/netbook to participate in this class and have internet access at home. No exceptions.

This class will have homework. Students must work on their websites each week at home so we can make progress each week in class.
